Robot Jan Ken (Rock, Paper, Scissors)

The Japanese have invented a robot that NEVER loses at Rock-Paper-Scissors.

The Japanese scientists that invented this robot guarantee that it will beat humans at rock-paper-scissors 100% of the time. How is this possible? It doesn't actually predict anything. The robot is playing the exact same game as humans, with one exception: it moves 33 times faster than humans. The robot can process 1,000 frames per second, while humans only process 30 at most.

The robot can read the opponent's hand faster than the human eye, so it can respond at extremely fast speed. Basically it can see what you're gonna throw before you realize it, and it responds in time. While it might not be practical, the software is envisioned to be used as a springboard for more useful applications.
